Site visitation tracking
Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Memberships
A list of Council, Associate, Fellow and Student members are published on our website and will be saved to this website’s database. This information is used to identify you as a member of the LAA.

Auction Marts
A list of Auction Marts are published on our website and will be saved to this website’s database. This information is used to identify the location of LAA member auction marts, the services they offer and contact details.

Professional Auctioneer or Valuer
A list of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers are published on our website and will be saved to this website’s database. This information is used to identify the location of LAA member Professional Auctioneers or Valuers, the services they offer and contact details.

Contact forms and email links
Should you choose to contact us using the contact form on our Contact us page or via email, the data will be collated into an email and received buy our devices using our GDPR compliant email system (see OUR THIRD PARTY DATA PROCESSORS).

Email newsletter
If you choose to join our email newsletter, the email address that you provide to us will be stored securely by the LAA Executive Secretary to provide email marketing services. The email address that you submit will not be stored within this website’s own database but will be stored on our secure internal computer system.

Your email address will remain within our database for as long as we continue to use email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by by requesting removal via email. When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the email account that is subscribed to the mailing list and entering UNSUBSCRIBE as the email title.

While your email address remains within our database, you may receive periodic newsletter-style emails from us.

As detailed above, if you become a member of the LAA this will be published on this website this will be also stored within this website’s database. This is currently the only occasion where personal data will be stored on this website.
